In yet another The Watsonia Bugle exclusive, nobody ever contacted us this week to discuss the odd two-tiered seating arrangement outside the library that offers unrivalled views of the powerline towers. Nobody ever said, “I’m just going to sit here and enjoy the view of these giant powerline towers.”
In a further attempt to sell the ambience-packed experience, nobody ever also said, “It’s such a great spot to just sit with your thoughts and contemplate life. And, as an added bonus, if you squint a bit, you can also see the dustbowl construction site that will one day become North East Link.”

Whilst nobody ever was unable to confirm or deny whether a safety fence was included in the initial designs for the east side of the town square, they did say the play area was one of the best in the region. They said, “It’s just great. And if those two swings are busy, you can just stare up at the powerlines and enjoy the poignant reminder of man’s ability to generate electricity.”
