A local motorist says he’s genuinely unsure how to correctly navigate what is possibly the most confusing intersection in Australia. And anecdotal evidence suggests that the junction in question, the T-intersection in the middle of Watsonia’s notorious new town square, has been causing confusion amongst quite a few motorists in our suburb’s CBD. 

Speaking exclusively to The Watsonia Bugle, 34-year-old man Darren Lenton said, “To be honest, it confuses me every time. Really odd design isn’t it? I mean, I know there’s a little sign under the traffic lights now that says giveway to pedestrians and then continue on, but it feels weird going through a red light.”

However, another local, Val Granger, claims the intersection is perfect. She said, “It just matches the vibe of the town square perfectly. Like a living, breathing episode of Utopia.”
