After yet another challenging visit to the local supermarket we’ve been left to ponder the age-old questions of why isn’t maple syrup next to pancake mix at the supermarket? Seriously, why?
Here at Bugle HQ, we love pancakes and maple syrup. They’re delicious. Sometimes we’ll even add some ice cream or maybe even some blueberries. It makes for quite a pleasant breakfast. However, the otherwise pleasurable experience of having pancakes for breakfast is offset slightly by the difficult supermarket experience of having to locate both the pancake mix… and the maple syrup.
We’re sure there are other uses for maple syrup, but we’re just not aware of them. And surely the most common use for maple syrup in Australia is on pancakes. Can any of our loyal readers shed some light on this?
