A local dad is considering applying for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPLs) a in Cert III in Construction after building multiple sandcastles over the holiday period. Luke Daniels believes that the work he has put in over the last fortnight is worth at least a few credits in an attempt to secure formal qualifications in the construction industry.
Speaking exclusively to The Watsonia Bugle, Daniels said, “Surely it’s worth something, I mean I’ve been on the tools every bloody day since Christmas. And I’ve been meeting a whole range of briefs in that time.”
In fact, Daniels claims that his diverse body of work over the holiday period is the most viable reason for earning at least a few RPLs in the formal qualification. He said, “I’ve seen it all mate, I feel like an industry veteran. I’ve had demanding clients, ambitious designs, hot working conditions, and a noticeable lack of breaks.”
