A Watsonia father is officially fed up with the use of dinosaurs on kids clothing after discovering a t-shirt with a Tyrannosaurus Rex surfing and wearing sunglasses. Chris Wallis made the haunting discovery while he was dressing his two-year-old son this morning, and immediately took to Facebook to voice his displeasure.

In a rambling post, Wallis referred to the excessive use of dinosaurs in children’s clothing as, “commercialism gone mad”. He also claimed, “How are kids supposed to grasp such a complex concept as dinosaurs when they’re seeing a bloody T-Rex hanging ten and wearing a pair of sunnies. I mean, surfers don’t even wear sunnies while they’re out there, but that’s a whole other issue.”

Speaking exclusively to The Watsonia Bugle about his outburst, Wallis said, “I guess it had been building for a while, but this morning was the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. What’s wrong with just having a T-Rex doing his thing, you know, stalking through a prehistoric landscape and eating anything that moves. Why do they have to throw him on a surfboard? It’s stupid.”
