A local podcast enthusiast switched back on to commercial radio for five minutes this morning and broke down into heavy tears of despair. Cameron Liddle has been avidly listening to podcasts for the last eight months but, for some reason, decided this morning to see how the other half were living.
Speaking exclusively to The Watsonia Bugle, Liddle said, “Mate, it was terrible. Apart from the fact that almost half of it was ads, I heard some banal chatter before they took a talkback call and I had to listen to some uninformed moron. That was when the tears started.”
According to Liddle, “At first the tears were just pure sadness, but then they became pure joy as I realised how much my life has improved in the last eight months. I can never go back now.”
