A Watsonia man is reportedly completely unaware of any of Paul Kelly’s albums other than his greatest hits. Despite claiming to be a diehard fan of one of Australia’s most beloved singer-songwriters, Ben Adams remains in the dark over large portions of Kelly’s career.

Speaking exclusively to The Watsonia Bugle, Adams said, “Mate, I could sing every song on that album word perfect, but for the life of me I couldn’t tell you one single album name from any other point in his career. Did he just start his recording career by releasing a greatest hits and then never make a follow up album? I honestly don’t know.”

When we told him that Paul Kelly had actually recorded and released 23 studio albums, four EPs and 53 singles, Adams said, “Fair dinkum? Well I’ll be damned. That’s a genuine surprise to me. But that ‘Bradman’ song is a belter isn’t it? Which album was that one on?”
