A local man named Bill Posters has openly questioned what he’s done wrong, after noticing multiple signs around the city of Melbourne emblazoned: “Bill Posters Will Be Prosecuted”. While spotting the first sign raised some concern, Posters has since been made aware of numerous signs scattered around the city and surrounding suburbs, causing him to fear there is a conspiracy out there to get him.

Speaking exclusively to The Watsonia Bugle about the matter, Posters said, “I just don’t get it. I’ve done nothing wrong. I’m a law-abiding citizen. If anything, I’m a bit boring, really. What could I possibly be prosecuted for?”

Since posting an image of one of the signs on his Facebook profile on Saturday, friends of Posters have been sharing images of similar signs that they have spotted around Melbourne. In response to the deluge, Posters said, “It’s unbelievable! And they all look like pretty official signs, too. It all makes me a bit worried to be honest. I mean, who’s out to get me?”
