A mysterious space exploration enthusiast has defaced multiple pylons under a Greensborough Bypass bridge by crudely scrawling iconography of their personal interest. The items of graffiti, which closely resemble rocket ships preparing for launch, have appeared in recent days under the bridge that goes over Kempston Street right on the border of Watsonia North and Greensborough.

While some locals have suggested that the scrawlings represent something more sinister, aerospace engineers claim the shapes are consistent with NASA spacecraft in the launch position. One such engineer, Daryl Thorpe, told The Watsonia Bugle, “Yeah mate, definitely rocket ships. Get your mind out of the gutter. Some of them are actually quite well drawn. Maybe a little bulbous through the middle of the rocket, but the base is quite consistent with the propulsion required to launch a rocket into orbit.”

Thorpe claims that any doubts about the artistic inspiration behind the images can be dispelled by the image above. He said, “I’ll be honest, I had my doubts too at first. But when I saw that one in mid flight, with the flames underneath the rocket, I knew for sure.”
