Collingwood midfielder Adam Treloar is reportedly planning to hang his Anzac Medal in the exact same position he would’ve hung his premiership medal had he chosen to go to Richmond at the end of the 2015 AFL season. At the time of that decision, Treloar famously said he chose the Magpies over the Tigers because he thought they had a better list that was closer to winning a premiership.
It’s early days, but that prediction has no doubt initially blown up in his face following Richmond’s drought-breaking Grand Final win last year. However, Treloar now has something to hang on the hook that he could’ve put his Tigers premiership medal on, and is reportedly very pleased with the outcome.
A source close to Treloar said, “Yeah Adsy’s pretty stoked mate. His trophy cabinet has been a bit lacking since the Tiges got up last year. But now he’s got something to show for his great decision to go to Collingwood.”
