For some reason, headlines were made yesterday after images surfaced of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, wearing a $70 dress at some kind of exclusive horse event attended predominately by rich people. While the reports were mostly complimentary for Middleton’s fashion choices, headlines for the story referred to the $70 dress as “cheap”, leaving Watsonia man Neville O’Brien wondering what all the fuss was about.

Speaking exclusively to The Watsonia Bugle, O’Brien said, “Cheap? What do they mean by cheap? 70 bucks is 70 bucks mate. This entire outfit I’m wearing here retails at around $60… and that includes the shoes!”

As royal devotees across the globe were no doubt rushing to retailer Zara to purchase their own piece of royal fashion for an accessible price, and Bugle readers are no doubt wondering how old mate Neville completely clothed himself on a fairly brisk Watsonia day for only $60, O’Brien further highlighted his lack of fashion knowledge by saying, “So who’s this Zara chick anyway? Is she one of them fancy designer ladies?”
