A local man has reportedly expressed interest in buying tickets for the “Cash me outside” girl’s Australian tour. While Kane Stephens initially just tagged a few mates in an article about the impending tour by rapper “Bhad Bhabie”, friends of the Watsonia man claim he may be genuinely interested in attending the Melbourne show.
In yet another example of truth being stranger than any of the fiction that we can create, the then 15-year-old girl who shot to fame for her iconic appearance on Dr Phil just two years ago, is apparently now a world-famous rapper with an, ahem, reported net worth of $3 million. Initially famous for her idle threat of “cash me outside, how ‘bout dah?” (translation: “would you like to continue this discussion in a more aggressive manner outside of this building?”), Bhabie — real name Danielle Bregolie — has gone on to launch a music career, seemingly strong enough to support a national tour of Australia.
And friends of Stephens have contacted The Watsonia Bugle to suggest that he seems quite interested in purchasing tickets for the upcoming Bhabie show. One friend said, “At first he just tagged a few of us for what we assumed was a bit of a laugh. But he keeps casually dropping it in conversation now, so if I’m reading between the lines I reckon he’s actually keen to go.”
Another friend said, “He seemed kind of obsessed with the whole thing a couple of years ago when it first went viral. You know, really obsessed. Kept dropping it in conversation and laughing at it even when we’d all moved on from it. So, I reckon he’s odds on to get tickets and go. What an idiot.”
