And, even more interestingly, a source close to the show explained that the actors in the hit series keep the small replica as some kind of talismanic symbol of supreme acting skills and public performance.

As the world turned their attention to the latest episode of the viral drama series, eagle-eyed viewers spotted a seemingly misplaced takeaway coffee cup on the table as characters in the show hosted a wake/celebration just days after television’s longest ever on-screen battle. While fans clamoured to mock the show for not spotting the out-of-place item in the important scene, an anonymous source from the team behind the show has revealed the unique reason for the cup’s presence on the set.

The source said, “Everyone who’s seen that cup thinks it was just an ordinary cup but, if you look closer, it’s actually a small replica of that Pitstop cup that you guys have made famous. Seriously. The actors on the show kept that little statue on set at all times. They all said that the Pitstop cup is the ultimate example of pure dramatic performance.
