Local meme connoisseur Darren Flanagan has told The Watsonia Bugle that the iconic Con Air scene featuring Cage’s character Cameron Poe enjoying a light breeze through his hair is bound to get serious traction in the coming weeks.

According to Flanagan, “Memes tend to reflect current events and happenings, so Nicholas Cage in Con Air is prime for the taking. So many people are going to be able to relate to that iconic scene in the next few weeks, especially if this escalates to Stage 3 or whatever other stage we have ahead of us. Poe will be the go.”

While Flanagan said he couldn’t pinpoint the exact moment when the meme would hit its zenith, he expected it to peak within the next four to five weeks. He said, “It’s hard to know, mate. We are in unchartered territory here. But it will get big at some stage. Trust me.”
