A local renegade has broken the current COVID curfew to put his bins out after 8pm. One of Watsonia’s most notorious rule breakers, Dave Reynolds, committed the offence last night, before taking to social media to gloat about his misdemeanour.

Speaking to The Watsonia Bugle about the incident, Reynolds said, “I guess it’s true what they say, rules are meant to be broken, bro. Haha. We can’t let the government strong arm us and tell us what to do all the time. Sometimes you’ve gotta stand up for your human rights.”

Despite the bold defence of his actions, Reynolds eventually conceded that he’d fully intended to put his bins out before the 8pm cut off time. He said, “You know how it is, mate. Bin night is always a bit of a nightmare. I genuinely forget at least once a month.”
