A local man says he always genuflects when he passes Noodle Station on Watsonia Road, claiming it’s the only way to show your true respect towards the world’s greatest dim sims. Neil Daniels said he started the odd ritual a couple of years ago, and never misses an opportunity to bend his knee and bow his head in acknowledgement of our local delicacy.

Speaking to The Watsonia Bugle about his devotion to the dimmie, Daniels said, “I just feel like it’s the least I can do, you know? I mean, those dimmies are that good. I bloody love ‘em. They deserve a certain level of reverence. And I’m committed to giving them that.”

However, Daniels conceded that his dedicated observance posed some challenges, especially when he’s driving past the iconic restaurant. He said, “Yeah mate, it’s a bit tricky when I’m in the car, but I always try my best. You’ve really got to pay attention to that weird pedestrian crossing near the roundabout, but I manage. Anyway, let’s stop talking about those dimmies, you’re making me hungry.”
