A greeting card cricketer has been spotted playing a very unusual shot at a local bargain emporium, sparking multiple questions about what he’s actually doing. Local cricketer Fraser Price has told The Watsonia Bugle that he honestly cannot work out what kind of shot the fictional batsman is playing and, in the process, has openly questioned the artist responsible for the image.

Price said, “It’s all very strange if you ask me. The ball looks too close to leave, but if old mate is trying to play a shot at that ball he’s super late on it. The whole image is a mess. I’m not sure what I was expecting for a $1 card, but I guess I just want some modicum of authenticity.”
