Watsonia dad, Tim Salvatore, has hit a significant road block in his ability to parent after last night, during story time, his daughter Sienna asked him what sound a giraffe makes. Priding himself on being able to make most animal noises with both dramatic impact and biological accuracy, Tim froze at the question, eventually opting for the sound of loudly eating leaves.
Sienna was unimpressed by the attempt, with her last words before going to sleep being “father, you have failed me”. Shaken by that closing statement, Tim spent the night on YouTube trying to find the correct noise. After spending most of that research time watching the viral classic “What does the fox say?”, Tim woke this morning still not 100% clear on the correct noise.
He has been dreading tonight’s story time all day, telling The Watsonia Bugle, “I have actually got a really good range up my sleeve, you know, all the usual farm animals, most creatures you can find in a zoo and, oddly, seven different species of frog. So this has really put me on the spot. Sienna was devastated, and I am really gunna have to put in a good performance tonight.”
