A small advertisement has been spotted on a local supermarket noticeboard spruiking the arrival of a new ukulele teacher in town. Introducing himself as “Scotty Mo”, the instructor is offering lessons on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights, explaining on the note that he’s “looking to create alternative revenue streams after an unfortunate restructure at his old job”.
Offering to teach “all the classics, such as ‘April Sun in Cuba’, plus heaps of religious hymns”, the new instructor also spruiked “As Seen on TV” in the hand-written advertisement. Close followers of Aussie politics have begun speculating about the true identity of the teacher, with many claiming it could actually be our most recent former Prime Minister.
If so, the moniker “Scotty Mo” is a noticeable shift from previous pseudonyms used by the PM, including the nauseating “ScoMo”, the amusing “Scotty from Marketing”, and the unofficial “ScroMo”. Maybe it’s all part of his forced transition out of public life?
