After almost two full years of silence, the Diamond Valley’s most passionate anti-vegan has spoken out about the current COVID-19 crisis. Grainy images have emerged this morning of a new slogan scrawled on the famous Briar Hill fence, telling locals to “BEAT CORONA. EAT MEAT.”

While medical experts are yet to verify a link between increased meat consumption and the effective treatment of COVID-19, locals are likely to be more excited by the return of Megan the beloved vigilante. Megan first sprung to fame in 2017 thanks to a string of pro-carnivore slogans appearing on the prominent residential fence visible to Greensborough-bound traffic on St Helena Road.

Megan’s campaign received wide publicity, covered by such revered mastheads as the Herald Sun and the Daily Mail after initially being covered by The Watsonia Bugle. But she’s been conspicuously quiet in recent times, leading to genuine fears for her safety and wellbeing, particularly after the success of pro-vegan Netflix documentary The Game Changers.

But Megan truly is the hero that we need in these uncertain times. Welcome back Megsy, we’ve missed you!
